St Anthony's Novena - Starting Thurs 5th June and concludes on his feast day Friday 13th June

Two daily sessions 10am and 5.45pm Mon - Fri, Sat 10am and 6pm, Sun 10.30am.

At the end of His earthly life Jesus ascends triumphantly into heaven. The Church acclaims Him in His holy humanity, invited to sit on the Father's right hand and to share His glory.

The Gospels are crystal clear in their assertion that Jesus came among us because “God loved the world so much…

We must never take the Gospels for granted or cease to wonder at the majesty of the story they tell us. It is a story “…too wonderful for us, too high, beyond our grasp.” and yet, thanks to the life, death and resurrection of Jesus it is simply the story of Love.  

Maybe a question for all of us in this Easter Season could be: In what or in whom do I recognise the Risen Lord in our world? What is it I see or hear that alerts me to the presence of the Risen Lord in our midst? This is, maybe, a question for us to ponder as we move towards Pentecost.
