Presbytery

The first stone of the New Presbytery for St. John's Parish was laid on Monday April 6th by Rev. Dr. O'Dwyer in the presence of numerous gathering of clergy and laity of the diocese. The ceremony commenced at twelve o'clock and those who attended were received on the grounds of the Cathedral by the Rev. G. Quain, the zealous administrator of the parish.

The New Presbytery will be a three story building in the Gothic style of architecture, in order to be in harmony with the Cathedral and school buildings adjoining. It commands a frontage of 52feet.
