Peace begins with each one of us: in the way we look at others, listen to others and speak about others. 

Ask the plants of the earth, and they will teach you;. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this?". This encourages us to look to the natural world for understanding and to recognize the divine creator in all living things. 

From Pope Leo XIV: "it is important there be a growing desire in people's hearts for a future of peace and of respect for the dignity of all". This highlights the need for global solidarity and working towards a peaceful future.

The Feast of The Assumption

Regardless of how unpopular the values of the Gospel may be at the moment; we are charged with keeping them alive and visible in our communities. In this is a warning. All it takes for evil to triumph, is for good people to do nothing!

"Let us love the one who is near us, so that we may be able to attain the love of the One, Who is above us!" This quote emphasizes loving one's neighbor as a path to experiencing God's love. It is a reflection on love of God and love of neighbor, highlighting their interconnectedness.
