As we celebrate this wonderful feast,of the Most Holy Trinity we pray that each of us will continue to be blest in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Pentecost, is not a kind of once-off, exciting experience. It happens within us day after day after day, no matter what circumstances we are in

Today the responsibility building God’s kingdom now belongs to us. The first friends and followers of Jesus are our ancestors and we are are their descendants. It is now up to each of us in our own way to carry on the mission and ministry of Jesus

Hear Jesus whisper in our ear, “Do not let your heart be  troubled or afraid…. my Spirit, the Holy Spirit, like the dew-fall, is in all places.  Maybe you don’t see my Spirit either, but it is there. Trust me. ”

John’s Gospel does not present a sentimental view of love.

This is a type of love that is shown in service and sacrifice

Those who receive Jesus as their shepherd receive his protection and gift of eternal life.

The crowd is struck by the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves; but the gift Jesus offers is the fullness of life for a hungering mankind.
