Online Prayer Service 7^th October

Today at 3 pm Sr Betty Baker will lead an online Prayer Service here in the Cathedral for the conclusion of the Season of Creation and for Religious Life. This prayer service is not open to the public, but can be viewed on www.limerickcathedral.com   

As we conclude this Season of Creation, we ask you Lord to grant us courage to observe a Sabbath for our planet. Teach us to be satisfied with enough. And as we proclaim a Jubilee for the Earth, send Your Holy Spirit to renew the face of creation.

Sharon Collopy from St John’s parish in Limerick is a Godly Play storyteller. Sharon brings the Story of Creation to life for us in this video.

Together, we will pray for creation and for our sisters and brothers, that we all find the courage to live more in communion with creation.

When Jesus calls us by our name to be his witness, what is our response to this invitation?

In faith and hope, then, let us follow where Jesus leads us.
