God IS love, and in us, the “image and likeness of God” is seen and experienced every time we reach out in love to another person and every time we allow ourselves to accept the love of another person.
“To love another person is to see the face of God.” This is the very last line of the musical Les Miserables. It is a line that that is worth remembering, and a line to return to in prayer.
